This week marks 1 year since I founded Bēf&Co. And I cannot believe 1 year has gone by!

Bēf&Co. started with a simple but ambitious dream: To build a trustworthy, reputable company. To deliver the highest quality products and service in our industry.

Have we achieved that? Yes.
We’ve continued to grow, we’re expanding our horizons, and most importantly we’re earning repeat business. That’s the strongest sign that we’re doing something right.

As a startup and a one-man operation in the beginning I knew the risks were high. I was Entering the Lion’s Den, a competitive and consolidated market and wasn’t going to be easy. But I’ve always believed that there’s room for people who operate with goodwill and integrity.

I’ve never been interested in cutting corners or taking advantage of others. My focus from day one has been building close, long-term relationships with customers and delivering value they can rely on.

When I look deeper into what has made Bēf&Co. work, I realise it Bēf&Co. didn’t really start in 2024. It started back in 2008, when I began my career at MBRF then moving on to JBS and lastly Marfrig Global Foods. Years of travelling, learning, and taking care of customers often when no one else would. Years of building trust, one relationship at a time. Many of those customers are now friends and equally important those businesses are now our partners supplying us products. Here is a message never burn any bridges.

One key lesson this year for me: there’s a big difference between working in a commercial role and building a business. Entrepreneurship is definitely not for everyone you need stomach to handle the real pressure.

As an entrepreneur, you wear every hat sales, operations, finance, admin and you (only) have all the same 24 hours as everyone else! It’s intense, but also incredibly rewarding. In just 12 months I’ve achieved things I only dreamed of!

Every day has been a learning experience. I’ve had to grow, adapt, and change fast the first year has been purely a journey of flexibility, learning, and constant evolution.

From an idea to a newborn business, Bēf&Co. is now starting to walk. And manytimes, in the middle of the day-to-day grind, I forget that I’m actually living my dream. I’m proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time and how far yet we have to go. I’m incredibly excited for what lies ahead.

A big thank you to my business partner Mario Fritz who has supported me through every step of this journey. I’m truly grateful.

A big thank you to every customer who has trusted us, your support means everything. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Also big Thank you to my old colleagues which have now bocome supplier.

Without all of you none of this would be possible.

We start the next cycle with the lauch of our new Brand Grande Beef and this could not be anymore exciting way to start our second year!

Cheers! 🥂
